Do I need to vent my tank

Hey guys, I am in the process of putting my truck back together and the idea crossed my mind that i might need to vent my tank. i have left the riginal tank in the cab and just have lines coming to and from it from my fuel pump, no canister or any of that. do i need to hook up a third line to vent to atmosphere?
