When to cut up
I was just curious as I was searching parts for sale and read about a couple blazers getting cut up,and was wondering how bad the blazer has to be to make that choice.

That's a personal thing. Everyone's skill level is different when it comes to ability to fix something. And it changes as time goes by. I parted some trucks years ago because of how bad they were that would be considered excellent restoration candidates now.
For me, it would have to be just a complete rust bucket to take part one now.

The ones I have been cutting up have had mostly frame issues. One was four wheeled hard and all the frame brackets were welded on so no one would want it. The one I'm cutting up now has frame issues and the body is shoot. The one before that the frame was nice but the body was gone you could wave to people by sticking you arm out the cowl. Definitely look under the cowl to make sure its not rotted out.
