327 Swap
I have a 62 C20 with an i6. I want to put a 327 in it. I received motor mounts in the mail but it looks like they won't work on my current 62 front end. Is there anything special I need to know when trying to figure out the drop in and mounting. Thanks in advance.

IF you are staying with the man. trans and you are NOT putting things that mount on the front lower holes in the block then you can use the horse shoe front mount OR if you are going with power steering OR an auto trans then you need to put side mount brackets in

To elaborate on what jtrichard said, if you need to go with side mounts, the frame brackets for a '67-'72 with a small block fit the '60-'62 frames best. Little to no spacer required on top of the frame.
What mounts did you receive in the mail? There was another recent thread about this same subject not too long ago.

Here ya go post # 18....I did the same swap and also used 3/4 flat steel spacer on top of the frame to get the perches sitting right, 62 frame's are not as tall. .67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/showthread.php?t=456665
