My truck is done. Now I'm bored

I just finished my 8 year build. And now I am bored. Knock on wood. I have put 142 miles on it since I have finished and no real issues

Looks awesome! But a build is never done. I'm on my 2nd tear down. What's next on your "wish list"?

Cool Re: My truck is done. Now I'm bored

That's one fine lookin stepper you have Chris! You done a great job on it and you should be proud.

Don't know why you would be bored now is when you get to have fun with it load mama n the boys up and drive the wheels off the 'ol girl

BTW I ordered my truck and I almost got that blue but went with black instead. I don't regret it but I would still love to have that color

That's simply incredible! Can't even imagine how many hours and dollars you have invested. Not to mention lots of patience.

I would have fixed the basic things to make the truck safe and reliable, but can't see myself totally stripping a cab or replacing rusted panels.

Great job!

Yeah but both those kids need trucks for high school. If this one took 8yrs you need to get started ASAP.

Chris: Nice Truck>Nice Job. Just curious on what you used for the fuel tank inlet hose? Did you have the original or did you find one? BTW: I never did (probably never will) find a spare for my 77 Stepside Shortbed that fits correctly. Larry

I bought a pair from the site in the link below. The passenger fit like a glove, but I had to cut up the driver side and shorten it. I used a piece of fence top rail from a chain link fence. it worked
