1968 c10 high hump 4spd
Hey everyone ! Just got myself a 68 c10 big block 402 truck with a sag 4spd, it was formerly a high hump granny 4spd I'm wondering if there is a replacement panel for an automatic tranny tunnel so i can cut a new hole in it for the new 4spd that has the shifter a bit further back! Really have no use for the bolted in high hump and the auto tunnel will give it more leg room anyways !
Thanks for he help Posted via Mobile Device |

no aftermarket replacements. you can find high auto humps now and then but they go for about $100.
by the way a 68 would be a 396 truck. got any pictures of it?

It's not a numbers matching engine, it's an early 70s 402 I'll post pictures once I get home later any specific angle you want to see of the motor, assuming your looking for a tell tale sign of 396vs402?

if it was the original 396 i would have liked some pics of the engine bay. but that's ok. i was actually referring to the truck overall, and the SPID.

Re: 1968 c10 high hump 4spd
Got ya, yea it's fairly new to me getting into c10s but this was a solid investment it's all 68 body ( step side) on a freshly done 72 frame needs some final putting together but other than that it's good! I appreciate the info on the tunnel tho and I'll
Post some pics soon regardless because these trucks are good lookin! |
