1967 Suspension Swap???

Hey guys, the end goal is a front end disc conversion on a 67 1-ton dually. My question - before I can really start to make some good headway is "can use 3/4-ton control arms, spindles, and springs (yrs 73-87) on the 1-ton body?" I know I can use 1-ton parts, but I'm really having trouble finding what I need to move forward. It's not going to be used for hauling, so I was wondering if I can use 3/4 ton parts, as they are more common parts, and won't be stressed post-swap.
Thanks!

Any extra advice is appreciated.
