69 washer bottle location

Any have a picture of where the windshield washer bottle goes on a BBC 69?

I believe we have the original bracket just not too sure.

I don't know about big block trucks, but my 69 (Dec., 1968 build) with a 350 has always had it on the core support. Some pics I've seen of 69s show it on the left fender. Do the big block trucks have the power steering reservoir on the fender?

Here are the 2 bracket styles I've seen. The one on the right is the core support style.

The bracket on the right side of the picture came on trucks ordered with the auxiliary battery and mounts to the right fender in front of the main battery. First owner 69 is right about the power steering. If you have a big block equipped power steering truck the auxiliary fill reservoir bolts to the left fender. Really depends on what options you have to answer your question fully.

yes my ps fluid reservoir is mounted to the drivers fender...

Just to clarify what I said above... mine (small block) has been on the core support since the truck was new using the bracket with the extension on the back. I THINK that's where they were on the small block trucks from 1967 until sometime in the 1969 model year when they were moved to the left fender location. I was not aware that bracket was also used with the auxiliary battery option. I posted the picture because the OP mentioned he had a bracket and figured it might help I.D. the location.

The OP may want to look at the right fender for mounting holes.

I have a 1969 GMC with a 350. Mine is mounted on the driver's side above the inner fender.

Here's a picture showing the bracket location on my 69. Do you have a couple holes in the core support above the voltage regulator, one above the other, maybe 2 inches apart? I so, do they appear to have been "threaded" by sheet metal screws? Have you determined which bracket you have?

EDIT: Added 2nd picture from the front showing the holes in the core support.

My 69's a factory bb and it has the washer bottle in the same location as firstowner69s picture.

Well...I have the 2 holes like FirstOwner69 posted and..I think my bracket is CORRECT! !! THANKS EVERYONE! !

Are the washer bottles on ebay the right ones?? They say oem NOS for our trucks..any suggestions on "guts" to make it all work?

Here are scans from the Factory Assembly Instruction Manual. The first picture shows the standard location and bracket for the washer bottle located on the driver's side front fender. Pictures 2 and 3 show the location of the washer bottle on the passenger's side front fender just in front of the battery. The bracket for this application was different and was used when the auxillary battery was ordered. Hope this helps.
