G-series vs. C-series

Hey guys,
I was over at a truck yard looking for a C30 dually for suspension parts, and in the midst of probably 20 fords, I find the only GMC vehicle. It's a 1984 G3500 Vandura dually. I noticed that it had 8 6.5" bolt patterns on the rotors, and I was curious if this is the same chassis used for the 1973-88 C30 dually. Does anyone know if the control arm bolt patterns are the same, or if the suspension from G-series can even be used on C-series vehicles?
Thanks for reading, and taking time to respond,
Andy
