'64 auto trans swap ?'s

Hi guys, im kinda new to the 60-66 forum but i got a pretty nice '64 lwb fleetside last month, all original, 283/4 speed. motors locked up, couldnt get it broke loose so i pulled it today, gonna swap in a 350/th 350 or 700r auto. i know the auto transmissions are longer and ill have to get a rear mount xmember and ill have to shorten my drive shaft but my question is how can i keep my e brake? Looks like ill have to remove the e brake crossmember for the longer auto trans. Kinda interested in what you guys have done that have done this swap.
