Found the oil leak!

Well, I've found my Suburban's oil leak. It's the rear main oil seal. What bugs me is that the seal is only 800 miles old!

At least I know what it is. I pulled the flexplate dust cover today- the bellhousing was full of oil. Plus, I could see the oil dripping with the engine running. At this rate, she'll leak 4 qts. of oil every 3,000 miles. It always bugs ya to get something back worse than when it went in.

I talked to the shop that did it for me and it goes back in on Monday for them to make good on it. It's been leaking ever since they worked on it. I'm working overtime lately and I really don't feel like messing with it anyway. It's why I paid someone to do it in the first place. Arrggghhh...

Oh, well. At least my Jeep shocks will be here for me to install today...
