Tailgate Trim
Just got my 1984 K30 and the tailgate trim is all dented and bent, so I'm looking to replace. I can't seem to find it on LMC or ClassicParts, where can I get it?

Re: Tailgate Trim
Also, how do you remove the aluminum trim?

Re: Tailgate Trim
These are super hard to find. The truck shops don't have them, like LMC. Your best bet is going to be the parts section of this forum. You can ask for "wtb want to buy". But you'll have to be a subscriber to post on there.
Your next place to look will be EBay. You might get lucky, I've seen them on there. And then try car-part.com. This is a search of salvage yards. |

Re: Tailgate Trim
They don't repop them, really nice ones get real expensive, I found a nice one with 1 small ding in it for 50 bucks, my truck is a driver so I'm not too picky
