BJ's were not optioned like GJ's. I don't think you could even get buckets in the Beau James, and I'm pretty sure you could ONLY get buckets in the Gentleman Jim.

Correct.

The Gentleman Jim's only came one way. The options are listed in the brochure.

The Beau James trucks had a little more flexibility, but not much that I've seen documented. I have seen genuine SPIDs that show 454 and 350 engines for the Beau James, but I haven't seen any other variances between different examples of the Beau James.

I think that price is a little high. You're talking about the same truck everyone else has, but with some worn out decals on the bed sides and maybe different seat upholstery. Doesn't seem worth it to me.

I disagree with your statement here. It is a big block Beau James. Not what everyone else has just with stickers. If that was true a 69 Yenko would be considered the same thing that everyone else has but with stickers on it. These trucks aren't in the same collector status as those but as the years go by people will look for the truck that isn't like everyone else's and the Sports, Beau James, Street Coupes, Wranglers, etc will be those different trucks.

Re: CL Find, Beau James!!!

I agree with Frank, these trucks are not just what everyone else has ,and are unique especially if you have the build sheets to tie everything together. Beau James was also available as a short bed . Only know of 2 of these , butI'm sure there are a few more out there though. I own 3 Gentleman Jims ,one that was stolen from me about 15 years ago,and unfortunately totaled , one I bought in California that I am currently restoring, and another that I recently bought in Texas that has both original build sheets !! These were actually COPO trucks. Very cool in my opinion, only time will tell if they will go up in value. Granted I do think 7 k is a bit steep for this truck . But still way cool!
