Rear Seat Brackets
Hello all, New guy here. I just bought a 71 Jimmy CST and the Brackets to hold the rear seat are missing. Any ideas where I could get a set. I bought some off the Web and they dont appear to be the correct brackets. At least from looking at pictures from other trucks.

Re: Rear Seat Brackets
First off… Welcome to the board and congrats on the new jimmy. You should post some pics!
There are 4 bolts in the rear of the seat and 2 bolts / 2 brackets in the front. Attached are a few pics of the brackets. |

Re: Rear Seat Brackets
Nice truck! The bracket just lays on top of the front bar and you bolt it down. Is your rear seat original?

Re: Rear Seat Brackets
Definetly worth it. Yes the brackets hold down the front bar. 4 bolts hold down the rear of the seat.

Re: Rear Seat Brackets
Do you have the two holes in the floor for the front brackets? I don't see them in the picture but it's hard to tell

Re: Rear Seat Brackets
isnt any brackets or tubes on the bottom of the seat currently just a couple hinge brackets in the front of the seat. I will try to get some pictures of the bottom and maybe you can tell me what Im all missing. Im a old mopar guy but wanted a old jimmy for years. This one is great shape just needs some love and some missing seat parts. The front passenger seat seems wierd to not sure if someone tried to mod it and make it work or not. Will send pics of that as well. Thanks a ton for your help
