69-70 grilles?
Here is a photo of my two grilles. I have questions if their GM or china made. Did GM stamp a number or put a specific mark any where on these grilles? I took the 70 off a wreck in the rear c10. The 69 is my original grille that was on my truck when I bought it ten years ago. There is a dealer here in western PA. that sells a lot of after market stuff for cars and trucks. I was there the other day and asked if I can see one of the 69-70 inner grilles. It looked nothing like either one of these two grilles. The salesman told me it was for both years. I know for a fact that both years are not the same. Next question. Are all the 69-70 outer grilles made of different metals? The 70 grille I can stick a magnet to it. It had the aluminum anodize on it. My 69 outer grille has the anodize over top an aluminum metal. What did GM produce?

Re: 69-70 grilles?
I would say that gm had there part number molded or stamped into there grill somewhere. As far as a magnet sticking to them I was always under the impression that all these grill insert were plastic. With aluminum being a non-ferrous a magnet wouldn't stick to it anyway

Re: 69-70 grilles?
Originals should be plastic. The grill on the right is a1969 the one on the left is a 70. The 70s had an egg crate style division and the 69s had same flush pattern all the way across.
