Bed Rails and 4-in Lift Installed

Bed Rails and 4-in Lift Installed
(click above for pictures)

Awhile back I was on this site and I saw a thread about someone who had some bed rails for sale. I remembered that I had left mine at my fathers shop and I went to go look for them and found them, minus the gaskets and bolts. They were in pretty bad shape after 5-6 years being left in the corner of the shop. I had to send the ends out to be re-chromed and I cleaned up the rails with some steel wool since they are made of aluminum. Then I went down to my local Lowe's and found some bolts and nuts and reinstalled.

I ordered a 4 in. Tuff Country lift kit with steering arm, 4 shocks, and springs all the way around. I also had to order extended brake line kit from ORD. Unfortunately the kits are only made for 73 and up trucks, so I had to go to Oreilly's and get adapters. I don't have much room left between the cab and the top of my garage door, so I'm waiting to see if the lift settles a little because I want to get bigger tires. I have 33"s and I'm looking for some 35"s. So enjoy the pics and tell me what ya'll think.

That's a beautiful K10! It would look killer with a set of 35s!

It doesn't fit in your garage? Well then I guess you'll have to give it to me so I can keep it in my barn....
