what is the correct way to paint the a pillars and doors?

I believe the a pillars should be white on a 1969 C20, as well as the top of the cab, and the top of the doors. Am I right, or were there different schemes?
Thanks,
Scott

Correct. Doors and A-pillars weren't body color on two-tones until square bodies came along.

You are correct, 69's had white A pillars, cab roofs and top of doors but 67's had body coloured A pillars and doors.

From bottom of window-up on doors on 68-72, except some early '68s were like '67... above drip rail only.

Special K,

I just want to make sure I am reading your post correctly,

The door window frame would be white on the outside and INSIDE the cab as well?

I guess that wasn't my impression. Am I mistaken or did I misunderstand what you posted?

I am getting ready to turn my 68 in a two tone, and I probably need to know.

This pic is not that good but the door frame is not white on the inside. I've seen factory paint different ways though.

MY-T-FINE! Been wondering about you, Jason, and that highly respectable fine example of '72 truck history that fell into the right hands.

Sorry I wasn't clear, wd 69. I posted hastily. I edited my post and you have it right before your eyes now. Clear is becoming a hit or miss thing with me these days

Re: what is the correct way to paint the a pillars and doors?

I painted thos one. So its done correctly.
I lost the truck during the divorce because the ex wifes dad bought it new. I couldnt fight to keep it because of it being his but i had some time and money in it. My son has it now tho.
To clarify, he passed away in 2000.

At least I didn't say with a jamb gun.

Jason, that's such a shame you got disconnected from your truck. Divorce can sure suck, or so I hear (<sarcasm)
