85 C4 in my 58 Cameo, Used Flat Out Engineering's kit and very happy with it,
bolt on rear with a weld in front cross member.
Worth looking into if you are planning to go with the C4 components.

Re: C4 corvette suspension on a task force .

I would like to use the c4 cradle it looks like it wouldn't be too bad to use . I thought about boxing the frame then adding two plates on the bottom so the suspension would sit square in the chassis . I have already got the frame sitting level with all the brackets removed I think I should sit the cross member in at 3 degree similar to a mustang II .

Over on the tri-five forum there's one with stock vette cm, search for Germain's post. Mine has flat out front and rear.

Re: C4 corvette suspension on a task force .

The stock vettes I have worked on state that the lower A arm should be parallel to the ground. I have out of a 92 sitting in my garage and that seems to be true on the 92. The front of the upper A arm will be tilted up quite a bit. The flat out kit for the pick up also states the same thing.

Re: C4 corvette suspension on a task force .

There's a few threads here on using the stock C4 cradle:

(looks like older pics were removed) http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...=535686&page=4

http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=368649

I did my own back-half. Secret is have the dog bones intersect the instant center line for neutral squat/anti-squat. center on an IRS is from the center of the rear wheel to where the CG height intersects the front wheels. Check out this link:
http://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/...so-much-3.html

Easy way out, order the installation kit/cradle from Flatout Engineering. They already did the hard work, engineering and geometry.
