just installed a PST swaybar
it handles soo much better than before and has better manners when changing lanes on the freeway. this has been one of the best mods i have done to my truck, and it was only 160 dollars!!
here is a pic. sorry for the dirtyness. i know it is spring, but in oregon that still means RAIN and i havnt got around to washing it.

C10-Volvo,
Do you also have a FRONT sway bar? I'm debating putting both front AND rear bars on my C10, since I have NO bars on it right now... |

what exactly are the physics behind the use of sway bars? They sound very useful, and these trucks definately need improvement in the handling department.

think of a sway bar as a spring that works against side to side flex and roll. it attaches it the axel and the frame and tries to keep them both on the same level. the thicker the sway bar (spring) the stiffer and less body roll you'll get.

Their GOOD for street trucks and BAD for off-road trucks, I took mine off of my 4x4 and didn't really notice that much difference on my truck, but I have stiff 4" lift springs in the front and it rides better without the bar and flexes better too. But for a street truck they help out a lot.

I had f/r Hellwig anti-sway bars on my 86' and they made a BIG difference.
