Re: 1952 Chevy Vette Farm Truck Build
Funny how life and interests change. Time to work on the truck came to an end 4 or 5 yrs ago when my wife and I bought a cottage/lakefront property. We always rented for a week in the summer but the kids and us enjoyed it so much we decided to buy our own while the kids are young. We've been spending every weekend there putting our own touches to the place. New cribs and docks, firepit and interior updates. We're surrounded by crown land so endless land for the kids to ATV on. Funds instead went into the cottage.
I did however, still collect and buy some parts for the truck. Been working on reworking the inner fenders to fit around the C4 IFS, door bottoms and gaps. Got all the steering components from the column to the rack. Got all my fuel and brake line parts collected. Things are progressing.

Re: 1952 Chevy Vette Farm Truck Build
Ya cottages are great!! My family has always had one, what's better than just a cottage is driving your old truck to it . Glad to see your getting back to it, funny how life changes eh. Did you get all the parts for your brake system?

Re: 1952 Chevy Vette Farm Truck Build
Ya, we love the cottage life! We are only just over an hour door to door and are very close to Bon Echo Provincial Park if you know where that is. I was always saying when I was in the shop "I need to get back on the old truck" but other things always popped up. Still have projects for the cottage on the go but am making more time for the old truck. Ya I did get brake parts. I ended up with a Wilwood master and 8" booster mounted on the fire wall.
