Nice and fairly spendy, but nice.

The tool is a new design that I have not seen before, but those abrasive drums and bands have been around for many years.

A bit pricey but looks like it would make quick work of the job. I may have to wait until Harbor Freight puts out a much cheaper version

Wolfman,

Looks cool, but in my only experience with Eastwood, I was very disappointed. I didn't want a cheap sand blaster like Harbor Freight sells, so I paid more to buy an Eastwood product, only to discover that it was EXACTLY the same tool.

I'll wait until I can get a good one from someplace like Milwaukee.

Re: hey guys and gals check this thing out !

What I clicked on brought up naked women being painted. I don't do that in my body shop, makes me think of old Earl" I'll paint anything for $19.95"
Anyway I have one of those similar I think to what your talking about I bought from TP tools and it was like $350 or so. I use the stripe eraser tool more than anything but the wire wheel does work well in the drip rails of the trucks to remove the old gunk that is always needing replacment

Weird. When I clicked on the link it skipped to the end and the next video was the one Hugger mentions - I'm not going there. But I dragged the slider to the beginning of the video and it played correctly. I haven't seen that happen before.

Not trying to be funny. When I clicked on the link it went to the video you posted, but skipped to the end. The next video up is about nude body painting, and if you have autoplay on it starts playing that one. I'm not blaming it on you; there's just something weird about the link.

I just tried it again from a different computer on a different network and it did the same thing.

Re: hey guys and gals check this thing out !

They are correct Mike, maybe when the link was copied there was an error so when clicking the link it takes you to the end of the video and auto starts the next video Youtube has on file... which is body painting a lady for some reason.

Here is a corrected link that opens the video from the beginning instead.

I'm pretty sure we all know that's not what you intended. It's too bad YouTube doesn't have effective filters for content. It's not your bad, so I wouldn't sweat it if I were you.

Yeah not your fault. Sometimes if you copy a link from Youtube right after the video has started it will give you the link shown at the end. I always use the Share tab and grab the link from there. Otherwise you can end up sharing an unintended video like wart removal or Walmart patrons twirking... unless you're into that sort of thing

Wonder if I could make my own from an old belt sander?

Re: hey guys and gals check this thing out !

I think that could be a very good tool and $200 doesn't seem too far out of line when you consider how much a roll or good norton sand paper is these days.

Re: hey guys and gals check this thing out !

I've used similar tools from Norton for polishing stainless steel. The wheels are anywhere from $25 to $100 each and don't last very long for polishing stainless. I'm sure they'd last longer doing bodywork though.

That is exactly what I was thinking

http://www.eastwood.com/eastwood-con...ent=2016-09-29

The abrasive drum is $60. Tool only comes with one finishing drum. So $260..or $320 adding a sanding drum plus sand bands

Any idea how long a drum lasts? I've got a Suburban body that has to be stripped that is still wearing it's original paint.
