64 c10 373 posi
so i've got a clunking sound at low speed in tight turns,i just got her on the road after two years of restoration.rebuilt the 283,new th 350 trans,driveshaft balanced,changed out the gear oil and visually checked the rear end.my question is;is my posi toast? and if so can someone recommend a course of action,rebuild,buy new?

Did you put a bottle of the posi additive in when you changed the differential oil? Sometimes a posi will make a clunking noise in tight turns. It is the clutches releasing and grabbing again. The posi additive should help, but may not eliminate it completely.
