71 k20 4x4. Lifted 4" steering sucks

Lifted my truck 4" new springs and shackles (1971 K20) (Dana 44)
Used an ORD Drop pitman arm but my drag link is not even close to level. Even though I still have not aligned the truck when i drive it the turn radius is bad and the steering is all over the place. do I also need to get a raised steering arm?
My ball joints are good/New Tie rod and ends.

Thx Matt

YES!

BTW: There is also a 4X4 section with a lot of knowledgeable people there to help.

Re: 71 k20 4x4. Lifted 4" steering sucks

I've always stayed with OEM pitman arm and used the raised steering arm on 4-6" lifts. No steering issues. Are you saying the drag link still runs downhill to the steering arm? I just did a 4" lift on my '72 using steering arm and it actually runs slightly uphill from pitman arm. It steers like a champ.I roll along with my arm on the window sill pinching the wheel between my thumb and index finger.
