Hi, I'm not sure if anyone else has this issue, but with my 3-point seat belts, I have always had the issue of the buckle falling back through the bench seat, onto the floor.
So currently I have them held on the seat with some wire, going across the seat and hooked to the bottom (which is obviously a real eyesore). I have found that the issue usually occurs as soon as you sit down, the weight on the bottom part of the seat causes the gap to widen and the buckle easily falls through.
Any suggestions/ideas will be appreciated.

My K20's seat padding is thick enough that it's a real chore getting the buckles through in the first place. No way are they gonna slip back down through there.

Never had that problem. How much do you guys weight?

Kinda serious, can't think of any other reason other than a really worn out seat? Could you just slide it to the center when you take it off? It's just where you sit that droops, right?

I have new foam and there is a small gap between the bottom and back, not much but enough that when you sit in the seat the seat belt can fall behind.
Now I'm no small guy but I'm not huge (thanks for implying special-K) it happens with light weights as well! The previous seat was just fine but the new foam and cover is slightly different plus I am no avid seat belt user so when I decide to put it on I have to try to fish them out as my seat doesn't tilt forward. looking for either seat belts that have a support cover to hold them up or another idea. Thanks

Later model g.m.'s front buckets have a plastic case/sleeve that goes over the belt..
you could use these through the seat hole on down to keep the belt end from dropping.. No one would see it.. or know..

I'm going with 2002 Trailblazer front seats, and the belts are part of the seat..

Same as Stocker, here - the cushions on my factory '72 bench seat are too firm to allow the aftermarket 3-point belt buckle to slip through, and I have the slimmer, GM-style buckle.

If I were you, I might just rig up some sort of "clip" that clamps on the belt and is too large to pass through the cushions. Could be pretty unobtrusive, just sitting in between the cushions...

This is me thinking out loud.

Take some good stick on Velcro and put it on the belt & seat where it comes through the seat at so it want slip through. It want be seen.

Superglue a quarter-sized magnet to a safety pin and attach it to the seat under where the buckle rests. The buckle will stick to the magnet until you pull it off to use it.

My seat belt length adjustment is on the buckle side, so I just adjust it out as long as possible and tighten once buckled. Although, I believe I got the longer set of straps when I ordered the 3-point harness.

They're likely not easy to find, but the bucket seat belts have a "tube" that holds the belt up alongside the bucket.

You could likely use a similar approach to ensure the belt stays stuck up through the seat gap as well. But I don't know if they're reproduced, and they're certainly not abundant used.

But maybe they make them for the Blazer market?

I bought a couple of those nylon stretch tie downs that has the small black balls on each end and used this parachord thread to sew one through the webbing of each female. You can't really see the small ball but it is enough to keep them from going all the way through.

EASY to find.. like I posted above.. even the later model cars/trucks used the plastic tube/sleeve into at least the early 2000's..
even my 88 ford f150 had them with a bench seat.

Looks like the Chevy Truck Bucket Seat seatbelt has the plastic support that holds the belt up.
