This rear end is original in my 1988 C-3500 single wheel extended cab (new body style). It is the dana 70HD, 4.10 gears with full-floating hubs & 8 bolt wheel hubs. It has no noises or problems, I drive the truck regularly. I will be pulling it out within the next few days to install a 14 Bolt with 3.21 gears. I am offering it complete drum-to-drum for $375.

I can get you a hub-to-hub measurement when I pull it. I am not sure on the axle spline count, but all the 70HD rears use the same spline count/size. It is comparable to the 10.5" GM rear. It does not have a posi or locker- I had the cover off last spring to change the oil. I might be able to get you a fresh rebuilt Dana powr-lok for it- they are tough & have good manners. I rebuilt it & put it in my dually just a few months ago. I might be making that truck into a single wheel, but haven't made up my mind yet.
