Decided to put a few $ into my winter buddy

So every fall I put my 93 C3500 diesel in the barn to wait for another summer of pulling our 5th wheel....sigh...and bring my 85 K20 home from sitting all summer at my in-laws to plow our drive and cul de sac and just in case a hard snow hits. So while changing the oil I noticed a fair amount of play in the front driveshaft sliding joint and yoke...so I thought my the heck...why not give her a little love with a new yoke and rebuilt front shaft. Local driveline place did a nice job fully rebuilding it and I spent a few hours replacing yoke and reinstalling everything...funny to see something other than rust under there now..we gotta keep these old chevy's rolling, right

I used to have a K2500 in my stable that saw plow duty in the winter and the underside of your truck look familiar. I would drain the oil and patch the oil pan with a type of silicone to use it for another winter. They all need some love every so often. Nicely done.
