Thanks for the hospitality, to answer a few questions: the cows are fenced in (somewhat), I will try to get a closeup pic of the mirrors on the truck soon, The brackets appear to be original but the actual mirrors look a little too new, almost everything on the truck seems original, it doesn't look like anyone has worked on it much. The PO used it as a farm truck I have seen it with about a 30 foot gooseneck trailer loaded with hay (I'm guessing about 10-12,000 lbs.) The odometer reads 23,000 miles, must be 123,000.
Great site and great information. Oh yea, I live in Broken Bow, OK |

I've seen those mirror mounts only one time before and it was on a municiple vehicle. No clue as to whether it was a 1 ton vehicle or not as it was in parts when I saw it. Did this thing have a factory stake body on it at one time?

Unfortunately I don't know any hisory of the truck, if it had a factory stake bed it isn't listed as an option on the glove box lid. It only lists some typle of trim package, an LS9 engine and heavy duty springs (this is from memory, I can't look at it right now).

WELCOME!!!!!
Welcome to the place to be!!!!!
Hey CPNE, after reading some of your posts on these mirrors, I noticed these mirrors on a old WW11 jeep my son had a picture of in a library book. They are different I must say.
