Been working on this for about 6 year's on and off and thru a divorce. I kind of new marriage was coming to an end so I left it in parts and took all my parts to my dad's house so she had no proof of what I had for truck. So I got the truck . I had about 13k in parts. Hope to have it on the road summer 2017 . Doug

Damn very nice truck u got there man ! Most excellent job on keeping it hahaha . I bite my lip a lot more now .... Took me a while to find my truck and now my goal is to keep the damn thing ! That can be difficult .

This sounds all to familiar to me as l had three storage units rented in friends and family members names hiding 3 different trucks and tools while I was going through what I thought was a devastating time only to realize 10 years later it was the best thing to happen to me best money ever spent !!!!!

I even named my build thread "Divorce Therapy" "LOL"

Over time things get better, life goes on......
It cost me dearly to get divorced, but as I look back I'm better off now without her than I would have been with her !!!

Seems like a lot of us have saved our trucks from are evil ex. My tools also got miss placed some where and my other driving truck I sold to a friend cheap and bought it back after she was gone. My truck has a 2 inches drop front 4 in back. Rear shocks have been placed on outside of frame this is a nice mod. Every nut and bolts is new took out all rivets one by one replaced with grade 8 Hardware drilled out the holes to the correct size. Rust proof everything. Everything is new or rebuilt rear end turbo 400 transmission heavy duty shift kit 2300 stall converter motor is a 350 bored 30 over stainless steel headers that keep the exhaust above the frame bought from the place in Washington State. Gearbox rebuild Demon carburetor mild cam. Just ordered the AC and New Vision power window kit and morris seat belts. What did everyone think of what I did to rain gutters and have a smooth transition goes down the door . I am even thinking on how to make the vents by our feet be power open and closed I think that would be cool. I am feeling better after my divorce even if she cost me 80k the final straw was when she had 400 Texts to a guy a work and now she is in Danger in her job due to downsizing karma's a *****. For a joke my buddy told me to not get married again just use the pay-as-you-go method. Lol

My X and her attorney tried to get money out of me for my truck, but at the time I had 2 72 swb 4x4's, she didn't know it ( I didn't have the 2nd one in my name knowing what was coming ) so when they brought up the truck I told them she could have it, come and get it..... I had a rusted out junker in the yard !!!! "LOL" It was never brought up again....

It cost me almost 200K to get rid of her, she blew it all and now is living off SS disability ( $700 / month ) "LOL" Talk about Karma !!!!
She was screwing around and got what she had coming to her !!!
