Re: bought this today

I switched out the headlights for one's with led built in. I'm also adding the marker lights in the grill. I went to install those and found out PO had smoothed out the recessed area they fit in... luckily they only installed metal on top and I was able to cut that back off. And of course this was after it was already painted. So I had to repaint

Well this day has finally arrived... I drove the surfburban. Yes it was only out of the shop and back in but it was running on its own but I did have to sit on a 6x6.

I haven't checked out your progress in a while and when I saw it painted. WOW! Freaking awesome! Great work sir. Are you still going with the plaid upholstery?

Thx for the comments... no I'm actually going with a two tone brown Italian leather for both bench seats. I actually had the seats done already in vinyl tan and it just wasn't right for the build. They looked o.k. for a regular truck redo but it was the one thing that my wife even said to go ahead and make it look right "like the ones on barret jackson ". So I listen to her haha
