switching over
I have a 71 3/4 2wd, currently I have 8 lugs on it. I want to switch to a 6 lug, couple of questions. well first is what parts would I need to complete this, and two- what size would the spacing be? 6x5.5? I am just trying to do this for wheel variety.

because I have a 01 tacoma, it has a 6x5.5 spacing same as a escalade and tahoes and numerous other gm trucks. I figure I get bored with wheels on my old truck I can switch them over to my taco. and also because 5 lugs just kinda freak me out, I dont know why. I would just much rather have a 6 lug. and also because the tires and wheels I may be ordering up in the next couple of days have a 6x5.5 spacing. there 22" lexani efinity's

ECE stuff
Use Early Classic Enterprises NEW 3/4 ton drop spindle that accepts 1/2 ton parts. Use their 6 lug rotor, and install a 67-70 rear end, and you will be set for 6 lug wheels. Also ECE sells regular spindles, if you don't want the drop. Use a 4 to 5 inch backspace. Depends on the rim width.

well that is the thing, just got off of the phone with ece and they said that the c20 to c10 conversion is about 269. just for the spindles, another 150 for rotors, then a couple of other things. I am just going to have to buy adaptors, easiest way for now.

there are some nice 8 lug rims out there, I know you said you might want to put them on your taco, but check out billetwheel.com. That is boyd coddingtons web site, the rims I want are on there.
