some progress

started to assemble the engine this weekend. I couldn't find a reasonable BB to rebuild, so the ZZZ motor is going together.
All new valves and springs, new +30 pistons, resized the rods and line hone. Hotter roller cam 235+ degs at .50 and 512 lift with new 1.6 roller rockers. Its suppose to be 385 HP according to Sallee specs.

Now I cant decide to put it in the 71 or the 97 S-10...what do you think

hey man thats a hard one if u put it in ur 97 s-10 that thing would pull like a raped ape it would be intense
