250 engine
I have the 250cid 6 that came with my 67 c10. I replaced it with a v8. The engine is pretty much complete from oil pan to air cleaner. It has a brand
new (20 minutes running max) 1 bbl OEM carb I got from summitt for 110.00. The engine ran, but was difficult to start. If you check my name here, you can see my attempts to get it running right before I went with the v8. Engine probably needs a rebuild. I kept the alternator and the p/s, and the a/c, but I'm thinking the rest is there. It has new points (not adjusted), new cap, rotor, and wires. Oh, and I reused the thermostat housing, but I have another I could throw in. Sorry, but pickup only. No way I'm gonna try to ship this. Since I need to put a price, I will say 100.00. But really, it's more about getting an engine to someone who needs it rather than junking it. It's a classic and should live on I also have another thread with the radiator. |

Re: 250 engine
I think i have the cradle part, but not the rest. If you would be interested in that, let me know and I will check. I would give it free if you paid shipping.

Are you going to Daytona in March?Pay for the engine and gas if you want to drop it off at the Vero Beach exit on your way.

Re: 250 engine
Would you be interested in selling just the carburetor? I am needing one for my 250.
