1988 barn find sorta
Looking to buy an 1988 s10 with 34,000 miles on it. I guess you could say a barn find. The lady that owns it is myson in laws great aunt 96 years old and used the truck to go to church and haul her bags of mulch for her garden. The truck sat under a covered garage that was open on the sides. It is sweriously dirty. Automatic trans is low on fluid and was slipping after he drove it to his his about 15 miles with no sign of leaking. The carrier bearing bushing needs replacing. Would the rubber bushing alone cause vibration if it is worn out. One of the rear tires is bad probably from sitting. I have a pic to post later.

Re: 1988 barn find sorta
Cool find! Seems like you're equally likely to find first-gen S10s that are beat to all heck, or alternatively are super-low-mile old granny trucks. Sounds like yours is the latter...my old '89 S10 certainly was with 79000 miles. My ex-wife's grandmother had an '86 with about 60000 miles...strictly her church truck.
