With a SBC, anything above about 20 psi at idle is OK. Figure around 45-50 at cruise, and 60 at max RPM (for a stock oil pump - high pressure pumps will vary).

me i'd try squirting a big load of marvel mystery in the cylinders for a few days to help clean up the cylinder walls and loosen up the rings// squirt then turn over and repeat timely but effective
