Suspension solution for centering wheels in wheelwell?
Hello all, anyone have advice or a solution to getting the wheels centered in the wheelwells other than using Porterbuilt parts? You guys know what I am talking about. Anyone ever tried to reposition the wheel opening?

Torch the Rivets on the trailing arm crossmember and shift it back the desired amount. If you have a c-notch or step notch, make sure the axle still fits into it. Shift panhard mount back depending on how far you shift the axle back. Or, Build/Buy yourself some new trailing arm crossmembers that are slightly longer.

I went the sheetmetal modification route. I sectioned and moved the wheel openings on the front fenders and bedside. I dropped the lip of the front fender down 2.5 inches. The bedside modification was mostly to widen the opening 3.5 inches forward to center and accommodate the 31" diameter tires.
