Radiator Hoses
I am running a 1967 - 396 with a short water pump and an engineering cooling products radiator (speed cool); any suggestions on findings radiator hoses that would work?

Re: Radiator Hoses
Do you have an older, independent auto parts store near you that will allow you to look in the back or stockroom for a couple of hoses that have the correct basic bends and contours (you may have to trim what you find)? I usually draw out the length and note the bends that I need, and there is an old Napa store near me that has hundreds of hoses that I can pick through. I recently had to do this for a Pontiac restoration project where there are no longer any refrenceable part numbers.
If not, the other route that I take is making mine from leftover steel J- and U-bend tubing, making pie cuts, and welding them together for the compound bends. I did this for my C10 (radiator tubing between my zoomies) and my old Super Gas drag car, using short pieces of hose for the connections:

Re: Radiator Hoses
Depending on what radiator you are running, you may be able to make use of the hoses for a '68-'71 C10/20/30with a 396/402. When I put the 454 in my '66 Suburban, I did the same thing Vin63 said. I went to a local auto parts store and hunted thru a bunch of hoses until I found a couple I could cut up and make work.

Re: Radiator Hoses
It's a city in California. Must make hoses there.

Re: Radiator Hoses
a pic of your rad and the size of the outlets would help. I would say BB chevelle 66-67. might have to trim some, if they fit the outlets.

Re: Radiator Hoses
Sorry, you are right, I meant Camaro. Fat fingers, little keyboard, and I have invented Chevy's next smart car the Camarillo.
