Window regulater replacement.
Finally decided to order new power window regulators for my truck. Driver side is toast. passenger side is rolling slow. So how hard is it to replace the assembly?

Re: Window regulater replacement.
Its not real difficult. you just mostly need to member that at one point you will be rolling the window up about 80% or so. then you will be unbolting the glass from the regulator assembly... at this point i find it easiest to stick some tape (i use duct tape) to one side of the glass, up and over the door and stick it to the other side of the glass.
the regulator is cables and bends and flexes and twists if you so desire, so you twist it in the hole, straighten it out and bolt it all back together. the hardest part is getting the panel off without breaking something. it is seriously a 45 minute job per door without power tools, at the most. -Izzy

Re: Window regulater replacement.
I did the driver side yesterday. Pretty easy to do. Will probably do the pass side on monday after work.
