roll pin

I broke the roll pin that holds the door stop on the upper front hinge of my 1970 C10. Does anyone know what size it is and can it be drilled out easily it is rusted in?

Re: roll pin

If you scroll down to reply #120 on this page you can see how member Bruce88 replaced his pins: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...=318544&page=5

He lists the factory pin as being 3/16x1" and replaced it with a 1/4x2".

You would be better off spraying it with penetrating oil, holding a socket or something heavy underneath to support the bracket and drive it out with a punch. Those roll pins are harder than the hubs of He!!. You would probably just wipe the edge off of your bit trying to drill it..
