Steel reproduction heater delete plate

http://m.ebay.com/itm/201898815464?_...&ul_noapp=true
eBay ad copy:
Brand new Hickey Enterprises part. Vic never offered these before but we think he would approve. These are an exact reproduction of the original GM part. Made of heavy gauge steel.

Re: Steel reproduction heater delete plate

That makes two companies that reproduce these. Maybe the price will come down now.

I'm pretty sure these are the only steel reproductions, the repo plates listed in the parts section are fiberglass.

They look the same and function the same so I doubt that it matters.

The EBay link doesn’t work. Are these metal ones still available?

The reproductions are available on EBay. Search Hickey Enterprises.

Re: Steel reproduction heater delete plate

Made mine in a day for 30 dollars for the sheet. Bolts to holes from old a/c. Could be made a little better but seals just fine.
