Cross Sill Question
I have a 1969 LWB with a wood floor. On the cross sills there are 2 holes on one of the "vertical" faces of each sill. Does it matter which way these face? Were they used for something? Thanks.

Re: Cross Sill Question
The holes are used to attached small strut rods to the bottom of the bedsides. I think the rear one has an extra inner fender that also integrates into the bottom of the wheel well and extends it. check page 25 of the LMC catalog.
If I remember correctly, the sills in front of the bed the holes face to the rear. The sills behind the rear wheel the holes face toward the front
