Would a 72 C10 leaf rear fit in a 57? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Can anyone tell me if a rear leaf rear from a 72 C10 would work in a 57 1/2 ton frame? I figure most likely the spring perchs would have to be moved but what about the overall width? shocks? etc.

Any help is appreciated.

I just put a trailing arm setup out of a 72 in a 57.
