WTB Bumper Brackets

Hey guys, looking for the final pieces for my '72 project...

I need front outer bumper braces.
I also need rear inner brackets for a sport bumper, I have the outer braces for the rear.

If anyone has these around let me know.
I'd rather get nice used ones rather than new but I'll buy new ones if I have to.

Thanks in advance!

Still looking for rear Sport bumper inner brackets.

Not sure of the LMC Quality, they're $34 for the set on there
Anyone used them?

Rear bumper bracket quality......
I have 2 sets of rear bumper brackets here, I think on set Is Goodmark and the other was AMD. I ordered one set from GMCPauls and the other from Summit. When they arrived they had similar packaging and the parts were identical. The set of 4 brackets from Summit were a bit cheaper.

The quality is nothing like GM but they do mount the bumper. The problem with them is the bends are not clean and sharp. If you were to tighten down the bumper real tight they would for sure dent the bumper and you would be able to see those dents on the outside. I mounted mine with washers between the bumper and the brackets and didn't torque the bolts much at all.

AMD part number 970-4067-S
$60 at summit.

Picture of key parts rear inner brackets, as you can see the mounting surface is not flat

Re: WTB Bumper Brackets

Thanks for the info Randy

I'll look into those, I have the factory outer braces for the rear so maybe buy the inners and "massaging" them a little with the hammer could be the trick.

Thanks for the parts!

The repro brackets will mount the bumper in the right location, just shim the bumper so you don't bend it with the mounting bolts.
I tried buying used ones and didn't find any on 2 want to buy threads.
2 sets sold this past 2 weeks or so here on the forum for about $100 with splash shields.
