OH 1974 Chevy GMC Truck Bench Seat Restored - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

This seat is actually a 74 seat, or better yet 73-76. This seat does tilt!! It has the 73-76 tracks. It is the full foam spring seat. It will fit in any 73-87 truck. Color is Saddle Brown.

The tracks and frame have been sandblasted and painted. Tracks lubed for a much better slide. The end support springs have been replaced with new springs. The seat does have hinge garnishes, but you don't have to use them.

$650 plus shipping. Shipping is at the least $200, due to size and weight. I would prefer pickup but I can ship it.

The seat looks great. I will also add that it is a GMC seat as it has the chrome decorative trim under the hinge

Thanks for that info. I wondered why I had not seen that one any of the seats, although, I have only come across a couple of 73-80's seats.

That was one of the few things that was an upgrade on GMCs of the 70s over the Chevys

did you make the cover or is it one from a supplier?
whats different about the seat/tracks as my 77 gmc?

Bellefontaine 45 mins NW of Columbus.
Cover is from a supplier
Seat Tracks are broke down in years 73-76, 77-80, and 81-87. All will fit the trucks from 73-87. It's the track that bolts right up to the frame.

I guess it just depends on how bad you want it. Had a guy drive all the way from Mississippi to get a seat. I was just down in Louisville myself, went to several places to pick up seats to restore. I can always meet you. I need to go pick up more seats in Kentucky sometime.

Do you mind saying where you got the cover from? curious about the color match with other interior parts i need to get for the truck
