removing radiator support

i am removing the engine and transmission from a donor truck as one unit. in order to do it easier I plan on removng the radiator support.

I have already removed the grill and all the componets attached to the support as well as the radiator and AC condensor. The wiring harness is loose and ready to snake out of the way.

What bolts and where do I need to remove now. The sizes would be nice to know too.

I want to make all the mistakes on the donor truck so when I get to the removal and installation in MY truck it should go smoother.

Thanks in advance:
Steve

Re: removing radiator support

should be like a few bolts where the fender and inner fender bolts to it, also got tthe two giant body mount bolts up front. just start taking crap off youll eventually figure it out.

if you dont want the core support and are just scrapping the truck just sawzall the front open

I don't want this support as it is bent. However, I need to know how it comes out and back in for the other truck.

Re: removing radiator support

its been a few years since i did mine, i wrecked my truck like 5 years ago. like i said theres two big bolts up towards the front that go through the body mounts. theres like 3-4 bolts going down the side of it on the inside that bolts to the fender then like 3 underneath that come up through the inner fender.

i had no clue what i was doing when i did it and figured it out no problem, biggest issue is rusty bolts
