70 GMC center console?
I'm thinking about getting a center floor console for my 70 GMC. This truck is finally going back together after sitting practically 20 years. I've replaced the original seat with a late 90's Chevy truck seat with the flip down arm rest. I can twist a wrench all day long, but when it comes to fabricating interiors parts it ain't going to happen.
I ran across Classic Truck Consoles. This is a small business that has an address that is a house trailer in Florida. I've searched through this site and found a few references, but no one actually seems to have purchased anything from them. There's not a info avaliable on BBB website and not much else either. I'm just a little leery about not finding any info on this company. So does anyone have any actual experience with this company? BTW, my Dad purchased this new in 1970. It's been in the family ever since then. Other than the relocated fuel door. I'm keeping this stock looking. Even down to the 'Custom Camper' door scripts. Years ago I purchased all new moldings from GM. No reproduction moldings on this truck. The B&M Mega Shifter is coming out. Going back to the automatic shifter on the column. Anyone want the shifter? Cheap, make offer. 350 SBC - rated 300hp before supercharger with FiTech EFI Ride Tech air ride suspension. This used to be a 3/4 ton leaf spring truck. On the way to the body shop Prepping the bed for the new fuel filler door. New filler door grafted to bed. Cab fuel filler filled in. When my Dad had a slide in camper, he also installed saddle gas tanks. Those fuel door have now been filled in. All bed stake holes have been filled in too. |
