Re: 1972 Chevy Pickup Project.
The pictures looked good but when you seen it in person there are tons and tons of problems. The more I looked at it the worst it got. The deadlines came and gone many times and nothing ever got done. So I went and picked everything up and found a real painter. The new guy does awesome work. I've already taken a couple other jobs to him to do and he has finished them and they look like new. He already redid my bed and I have it back in my shop and it looks amazing. He has the cab in his working on it as we speak.

What happened with the painter? I had to fire my first painter also and it took months to get my money back.

Re: 1972 Chevy Pickup Project.
he didnt have a clue what he was doing. There was parts that were not even painted and the primer was still visible and there were chips in the paint. he kept saying that my trim will cover that..... well no it dont. So I picked up my stuff and took it to a new painter. The new painter had to sand down and completly start over on every piece.

Re: 1972 Chevy Pickup Project.
We had to sand everything off my first painter did also. He painted right over metal with no primer and had dirt all over in the paint. I know how that goes at least now your on the right path.

They came out of a 2016 Jeep Patriot. They have power driver seat and both seats have heated seats. I couldnt pass it up for $25 a piece.

Re: 1972 Chevy Pickup Project.
You could buy these covers for a 03 yukon denali with a 6.0. They cover the intake and could plus hide the wiring. I put them on mine and my buddy put them on his 5.3.

No problem your work looks nice. My 6.0 came with the covers and I liked how they covered the intake and coils.
