If you search for "Door" and "Loom", you'll find a bunch of threads where folks have discussed wiring the door jambs.

Re: wiring from A pillar to door "boots" ?

You can find what you are looking for at McMaster-Carr Industrial supply....google this.
Then search under 'push-in grommets'.
After that, you need only pick the inner size/diamter you want or need and the thickness of the sheet metal...noting that the rubber grommets are pretty flexibile and will fit a lot more holes and thicknesses than just what is listed.
...all of this is assuming that the grommet is what you are after. If you are looking for a 'sleeve' or something like that....try searching for that on McMaster Carr because they probably have it.

Regardless...try McMaster Carr....they are a great professional/industrial company and ship very fast, I use them all the time.

(Also note that a lot of local 'NAPA' style auto parts stores have trays and drawers of this stuff available....they are worth checking out as well)

All good

I didn't use anything. I hid my wiring on the outside of the upper hinge, and you can't see a thing with the door open. I forget it is even there. I think i have 4 or 6 wires going to my door locks. Been in there 10 years without a hickup. Nothing wrong with the loom, etc, but i like to hide as much of my mods as possible.

Re: wiring from A pillar to door "boots" ?

I used grommets and just offset the holes about 3" between the pillar and door. Wire folds that way and stays clear of door.

But a neat solution using factory stuff would be 67-69 Camaro power window wiring boots.

Re: wiring from A pillar to door "boots" ?

On my 70 GMC I used a product from Specially Power Windows called Flexible Stainless Steel Wire Conduits (FWC). I also have a set on my 1967 Cutlass since 2011 without issues. These are in available in 1/2 inch or 5/8 inch diameter. These can give you a very clean installation. They are also available with Aluminum Bushings (FWC-BA). These are not listed in their product line. You will find them under 'Support' on their website. If I remember correctly cost is around $50.

Specialty Power Windows is located in Forsyth, GA. They've been around for years.

X2. I installed these about 15 years ago. No problems. Only issue is the very light sound/vibration as spring slides in bushing. Mine are installed opposite of the photos above though. Mine slide in and out of the door.
