1972 C10 Suburban - 20" Rev 107 Wheels
Figured I'd start a new thread with pictures of the new wheels. First thread asking for opinions here - https://goo.gl/5gFNMv
When I purchased the truck, it had a 17" wheel on it. Eagle Alloy 17x7 front - 255/50 17 17x7 rear - 275/50 17 The new combination is as follows: Rev 107 wheels 20x8 front 4.5" BS - 245/45 20 20x9.5 rear 5.25" BS - 275/40 20 GM-licensed reproduction centercaps Hope the pics and specs help others in their search for the right wheels/tires.

Looks sharp. Can't go wrong with the ol Rally look.
I have the 20" Eagles. I could never find one for a spare so ended up with a plain steel and sized the tire to the same OD. It would have been nice to have one of you old Eagles instead of the steel. |

There's no wrong answer here. Beauty in the eye of the beholder. Me? I like old school... You should pick what YOU like and not give a hoot about anyone else. HA!!

Thanks. I dig it. I am sure your 20s look better than the 17s I had on the truck. Previous owner selected a really short tire, more car height than truck height. Much happier with this combo.

I like both looks, but for my ride I want an updated classic look. Yours looks great, too. Got any pics of your whole truck?

Wayne, I love your Suburban and those wheels are killer. I do think they lend themselves to a little lower stance though, just being frank. // Leevon

Thank you and I agree about the ride height, Leevon. I'm researching my options right now. Ideally, I'd like another 1.5fr and 2.5rr without notching while still maintaining hauling ability and some ride quality.

Re: 1972 C10 Suburban - 20" Rev 107 Wheels
We need to get together sometime being that your probably one of the only semi-local burbs. I was thinking about going staggered 20's, but I am torn with doing that or 15x8's and whitewalls, or 17 or 18 deep dish steelies. So many choices.

Drop me a line if you'd like to check out my setup - I'm on the southern side of Frederick County near Sugarloaf Mtn. Having lived with my choice for a few months, I am happy with the setup. Rides and drives nice, looks like an updated classic (IMO! ).

I sometimes work at Ft. Detrick, but not sure if I'll be out that way anytime soon. Took my Mini club to Sugarloaf few years back. Was a good time.
