Steering Box Question ..

I have a K20 4x4 Chevy , the box is sloppy and leaking bad ... Question is .. Is a 2 wheel drive steering box the same or is it different from a 4x4 ?? Any help is appreciated

The box itself is the same aside from the different sector shafts. The sector shaft is what the pitman arm attaches to. The 2wd is a full spline with 4 thicker slots as a master. The 4wd sector has about 6-7 splines with a slot for the locking bolt
