crate 383 dressed up like a stock engine?

does anyone know which would be the best to use, or do they have a crate engine (GM, Blueprint, etc...) that they have dressed up like an OEM engine? I mean using Chevy valve covers like the stamped or LT1 covers, Winters intake, stock looking air cleaner...I've noticed alot of the new crate engines use tall valve covers and I'm not wanting to do that and just exploring options...doesnt necessarily need to be a 383, but I'm aiming for something with similar power.

It could be done. Valve covers will depend on the valve train because most big horsepower engines run roller rockers ECT and that might throw stock covers out with baffling. And a stock intake is going to kill the breathing of a well built engine. I'd just buy or build a mild 350.

Painting your after market aluminum intake orange like the rest of the engine will make a big difference in how it looks.
