Re: Barrett Jackson Las Vegas
Pic. I wonder if a top was even included as the bed rails lack any accommodating install holes/bolts...

Re: Barrett Jackson Las Vegas
Lot 352.1 2wd Blazer $21,450 - probably can't build it for that.

Re: Barrett Jackson Las Vegas
Several nice trucks went across the block on Thursday and Friday for "you can't build it for that", Prices.
We had a wind storm yesterday and rain today so got to watch more than I might have otherwise.

Re: Barrett Jackson Las Vegas
When I see numbers like this it helps me feel a lot better about the dollars I'm spending on my Blazer.

Re: Barrett Jackson Las Vegas
Those are crazy numbers !! I thought I was nuts putting 30K CND into my build, but I think it will be a good investment in the long run. Thank God I sold my street rod when I did. I think the market is over for those as we all knew it would. Maybe now is the time to sell the Blazer? Nah, I'm enjoying it too much !! :-)

Re: Barrett Jackson Las Vegas
Guess who the idiot was who bought that one...THIS guy! Yeah, WAY more than i wanted but sadly, I WANTED that truck!
I was there for both the Blue 72 and Red/White Blazer. No top on the red one and trust me, I was PISSED when it hammered for $60k. The Blue 72 Jimmy was bone stock with a 4" lift (ok, stock-ish) and was super clean. Both the Red and Blue trucks cannot hold a candle to my white one. It was hands down one of the top 5 cleanest vehicles there. I know, I know, I'm a bit biased. I had my mechanic buddy flown in from FL and before he saw it, thought I was crazy. My cousin is a die-hard chevy fan and he to said to me, "You're nuts..." then he saw it. Once the auction was over, both of them said that truck is worth every penny. FWIW: these prices you see are WITH commission. Mine hammered at $70k with a 10% commission. Pic include is my $hit eating grin once it was mine. It should arrive to my house Wednesday.

Re: Barrett Jackson Las Vegas
Side note: I bought a 69 Bronco last year. I plan on doing an over the top build on that one.
6.2 LS3 ProRock 60's front and rear 40" tires I have a 3 year old boy and a 4 year old girl. They get to fight over who gets what. This is my toy I get to play with: https://youtu.be/8yAl_VlAgtY

Re: Barrett Jackson Las Vegas
It looks like a lot but when you are old and gray and have nothing left but memories, none of those memories will ever be about a 77K chunk of cash. Just saying.
I'm six matching numbers on the Powerball away from being a Barrett-Jackson customer myself and when that happens I will line these Blazers up and down the warehouse (need the six numbers for the warehouse too, but you can see where I am going). Good deal. Congrats on the Blazer. And if I had it we would be two idiots after the same prize. Scott |

Re: Barrett Jackson Las Vegas
What are the plans for the Jimmy? Mud bogging/rock crawling, storage in a climate controlled vault with parade/show use only, or somewhere in between? Seems too nice to really use as a 4x4 truck.

Re: Barrett Jackson Las Vegas
I didn't plan on it being so nice. Pismo Beach runs. Maybe some car shows...
The Bronco will be my truck to "destroy" I just got a call from Reliable Transporters and even the lady said she was looking over the vehicle to try to find any blemish whatsoever and said she and her husband came up short. She said she even got a ladder to look at the roof in an attempt to mark something on her transport sheet dictating a scratch or anything. She told me that out of all the vehicles she has from Barrett-Jackson, this was by far the nicest/cleanest car she has. I KNOW I spent a LOT on this truck. It shows it's value.

Re: Barrett Jackson Las Vegas
That all depends how you look at it. If you were to build that truck yourself, it would cost 30K in parts plus the truck. Then you have your time you'll need to put in. If you were going to get a shop to do it, you would be well beyond 70K.

Re: Barrett Jackson Las Vegas
That was a steal at $20k! I think it would have done better if he had the top on it. The engine bay was not as clean as others at the auction. Almost all of the C10 trucks went in the low $30k range. A C10 will be my next truck. I had a 72 Chevy fleetside 4x4 with a wood bed, 350ci automatic in baby blue (or chevy blue?). went thru a divorce 2 weeks after the wife "let me" buy it.
